Easter in Somerset - Nether Stowey

This Easter we went to Somerset again. Staying in The Old House - Again this was a lovely B&B just down the road from Coleridge Cottage.

The years 1797 and 1798, during which he lived in what is now known as Coleridge Cottage, in Nether Stowey, Somerset, were among the most fruitful of Coleridge's life.

The weather was up and down but our trips were blessed with sunshine. I was able to take a few photos throughout the day.

We then made our way along the coastal road towards Exmoor National Park and down to Lynmouth:

On the our trip home we stopped of at Stonehenge:

Walk in the footsteps of your Neolithic ancestors at Stonehenge – one of the wonders of the world and the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. Explore the ancient landscape on foot and step inside the Neolithic Houses to discover the tools and objects of everyday Neolithic life. Visit the world-class exhibition and visitor centre with 250 ancient objects and come face to face with a 5,500 year-old man.- http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/stonehenge/

Easter Weekend in ........Clevedon

I realise that it has been little while since i last wrote something on here.

But here goes, a little update. This weekend my girlfriend and I had the pleasure of a trip over the North Sommerset where we stayed in a lovely B&B (Taggart House) which i can not recommend highly enough. The house was beautifully done, not only were the decorations and layout of the building wonderful but the two people (Rachel & Andrew) who ran the establishment were lovely.....

Before leaving for the trip I finally got around to getting myself a Lee Big Stopper, and I could not wait to try it out. Unfortunately it being a British bank holiday of course the weather was.... well terrible (from a photography perspective). Luckily on the last night of our trip the clouds began to break and the sky lit up with a beautiful orange and  I managed to capture the image below:

Sunset at Clevedon Pier

Anyway thats just a little update on my recent adventures.

I will try and update this much sooner next time...... Enjoy

Here is one more from the trip :)
